How to tell if your ball tip tech is heavy by looks?

Some of these English Techs have a date code stamped on the *inside* on the blade bed --at each end of the 'diamond'. Take a look...

Thanks for the tip John. I can find nothing on this Tech to denote date of manufacture. It does have a different underside to the cap than any others I have though.

Believe it or not I'm having a ton of fun finding and deciphering these Tech's.

Here is a brass handled English Tech. I don't have a scale but this one is substantially heavier than my brass American ball handle Tech. One cool thing is that this razor has a M-3 date code, the original M3.

Here is a brass handled English Tech. I don't have a scale but this one is substantially heavier than my brass American ball handle Tech.

My English brass handled Tech weighs 60 grams. The head is 25 g like all the other Techs I've weighed.... so the extra weight is all in the handle.
