How many shave with both hands?

I being naturally a lefty, do many things right handed as well as left, and there are some things that I can not do with my left hand at all (using scissors, fishing etc.) So switching hands as I move from one side of my face to the other as I shave is just natural to me. I was just curious to any of you do this or just stick with your dominant hand?

I personally shave only with my dominant hand(Right) I never really bothered to switch to my left hand because I great good shaves with just my right anyway. Also I find it hard to maneuver with my left in the mirror. I always move the wrong way. I might try it one day though as I sometime sget a closer shave on the right side of my face.

Right handed here and shave both sides with the right hand.

I also use straights and there I use both hands with no problems. When I started with straights I attempted both sides with my right but just couldn't do it!

I'm just odd...

If I am using a DE razor, I simply use my right hand for the entire shave. With a straight, I do use both my right and left hand as I find it more difficult to shave various sections of my face with my dominant hand because I would have to use a very strange grip on the straight.

I use both hands. Straight razor shaving *almost* demands it. I say "almost" because there are straight shavers that do it all with one hand but I found the contortions required more unnatural feeling than simply switching hands.

Now I am not as confident with my left hand but am slowly becoming more so. I used to always do the "front" of my face (neck, chin, moustache) right handed but find myself, when the razor is in my left hand, occasionally moving into those areas without noticing it. I remember not too long ago thinking to myself "Ooh! I just shaved that lefty!"

I can shave ambi if I really want to, but I"ve done it only a few times just to see if I could. Regular shaving is one one hand (right) while the other stretches the skin just a tad in my trouble spots.

Another lefty hear but I use my right hand to shave my right side of my face because I am not that flexible anymore..

Cheers,

I use my right hand most of the time, but I find myself gradually moving to my left more and more frequently.

I use a Mach 3 (until my DE arrives).

I can use both hands although I usually stick to my right, b/c my left is a little less coordinated. Althouhg I'm starting into straights so I gotta work on then both.

I thought everyone used both hands..... I use a DE and I split pretty much right down the middle. I use my right hand for the right side of my face and the majority of my neck; I shave left handed for the left side of my face.

Bad left hand from a childhood farm equipment accident, use my right for all my shaving tasks, whether str8, SE, or DE.

I use my right for all my shaving tasks. I'll let the left hand hold the lather bowl, but the right hand has the privilege of using the brush and razor.

If I tried to shave with my left hand, bad, bloody things would happen.
