I asked this question on another thread and wondered how you use a shave stick (pardon my ignorance). I found a scent I wanted and it was available in a stick so I got it.
How do you mill soap sticks into tub form?

Thanks, I might do that if I have difficulty using the stick.
Before you mill, be sure to give the stick a try as a stick. I almost didn't buy the irisch Moos beceause it comes in a stick. However, i'm glad I gave it a chance in its natural state. I've been traveling the past week and took the irisch Moos as my only soap. It has been wonderful. Even though I love to lather in a scuttle, I'm going to keep the Moos in the rotation just because I enjoy a stick.
Some sticks like Arko or Speick are soft enough to just be squished in a bowl.
