How aggressive is Tradere SB?

Has anyone tried it yet? For a close comb is it mild or aggressive? How is it if compared to 34c or DE89?

I think it is more aggressive than either of the two razors you mentioned. It is a beautiful razor and I like the shorter handle on the SB model.

I'd call it medium aggressive. The blade is much less bent than in the EJ or Merkur so the angle of shaving is quite a bit different. I haven't measured blade exposure or gap but feels to have about the same amount of bite as the 89, however it is a very heavy razor and that pushes it noticeably ahead.

I'm a relative newbie, but I have already decided I do not like flat blades; I like curved/bent blades. I don't want to shave with the cap on my face; I want the safety bar on my face and the handle pointing more toward the floor rather than the wall. Consequently, no Tradere for me (or Pils or R41).

As Jay (tfinch) mentioned when the blade is in the Tradere SB it is "much less bent". It doesn't sit flat in the razor like the PILS.

In my opinion the Tradere SB is a mild shaver, but not as mild as a Feather or a Tech. More than anything else, its smooth. It comes closest of all my razors to feeling like there's no blade in the razor. Not as aggressive as an R89 or DE89. Whether you like an aggressive head design or a mild head, when you shave with either Tradere, you are impressed, and you get a good and comfortable shave.

I have the Weber DLC, the Tradere OC (1st gen), and the Tradere SB now. The Tradere OC definitely tops the aggressiveness, of the three. Between the Weber and the Tradere SB, I'd rate the SB as noticeably more aggressive than the Weber, but still MUCH smoother of a shave than the Tradere OC.

I've been loving the OC since I got it in the original release, but the SB usurped it as my fave razor basically instantly when I got it on monday. I would say it's a smoother shave than the Weber, while still being more aggressive.
