Honing a Kamisori - Any special Measures?

Hi Guys,

I recently bought this razor:

I't is Japanese and described as a Kamisori (It looks like a Frameback type razor too?)

I'm relatively new to honing and wondered whether I need to do anything different to honing my Hollow Ground Razors?

You are correct, it is a Japanese Frameback and you would hone it like your hollow grounds.

I have a few that are very similar, they hone the same as a hollow ground-- and give awesome shaves. Nice score

these frameback razors were made in the 1960's-1970's nice score!

Might wanna tape the spine, the spine was often made from a softer steel then the blade, hence wears faster then the blade does.
