Hen & Rooster, with an odd tail ?

I'm somewhat familiar with the knife maker Hen & Rooster ( Solingen Germany) but wasn't aware they made straights. I picked up this chopper today with a wedge blade and an unusual tail. It's almost a push button. The scales are a bit heavy looking but I thought it was just odd enough to have.

Has anyone ever seen one of these or this tail arrangement?

I haven't seen anything like that before, I kinda like it though. Let us know how it shaves.

Will do. It may take a while but it'll work.
I just thought with the recent thread about mini razors,, shorty's etc. this would be fun to see. I have a couple of the corn razors, but now I have an actual mini for the collection.

Cute, I was going to ask how you shave with it since you cant open it.

It'll open to well past 90 degrees.

corn razor, i have seen several with that tail. i have never seen a but hen & rooster corn razor. i have 3 or 4 of the mini's but my fav is a boker baby. tom

I'm sorry Doc, I meant to write 180 Degrees,
It's a 7/16 blade and looks at home with my W. Morley and the LS &Co. Corn razors.
