Not Bad. The part that most How To vids neglect to show is how the back part of the bow should pass through behind the first. That was the part that through me off initially.

I do not have a bow-tie now. Those I have had in the past were clip-on ones. This video almost makes me want to go out and buy one just to try it!!! Thanks for linking this, Sluggo!!

I looked at diagrams and vids for ages on the net and couldn't make out how to do it. Then I saw this, and the light came on

Tying it on your leg makes it easy to see what you are doing. It also makes the connection to the shoelace knot clear. Which was actually kind of embarassing. It really is the simplest of all knots and all of us know it-how the heck did I have so much trouble with it?!
