Help with ID of accidental eBay win, please.

Put in a tentative bid on this one and ended up the lone bidder. :001_huh:

Ah, well, it came to just under $10 including shipping, so I'm not crying any way it goes. :001_smile

I think it might be a '40s Super Speed, but I'm not certain. A wishful part of me wants to think that it might be, or have once been, gold plated, and that it might be a '50s Milord.

I'd appreciate any help identifying it. I'll post better pics in this thread once I receive it (these are the seller's pics):

I'd say late 40's- early 50's Super Speed. You'll be amazed how well these clean up with soap scum cleaner and a toothbrush.

Nice score.

That is a 40's style Superspeed. Doesn't appear to be Gold Plated, just appears that the nickel plating is a little dirty/ tarnished.

As Chris said, it will clean up really well with a toothbrush, and some scrubbing bubbles.

Excellent price on it.

We see the 40's Style Superspeed far less on the B/S/T, and these should go for $20-25 easily in good condition. :tongue_sm
