Help with an old Gillette Tech

Scored an old tech over the weekend. I think it's quite old but there's no date info I can locate. Only a made in the US stamp. The box is old and the Red Cross not for resell banner makes me think it may be a wartime razor? Here's a kink to some pics. Sorry for that but I'm on my phone and getting a file uploaded was trickier than I would hope

there is a date code with a letter and a number on the base plate. Here you can find the right year to your letter

Those were given out in disasters or even at war time by the Red Cross.
