My memory and google are failing me today. I can't remember the name of two objects. I have seen both on desks in offices and both are used as decorative pieces, possibly as timers.
1. This looks like an analog metronome. The body is made out of wood and a metal needle facing up, toward the ceiling. The needle moves from side to side making a ticking/clicking sound. What is it called and what is used for?
2. The other is made of metal balls...er that hang ...it also makes a clicking/ticking sound when they strike each other. What is this called?
Thanks in advance.
