Greetings fellas (and...fellettes?)...
My mother-in-law scored this at a yard sale a few years ago, and has had it on display in her bathroom for a while. Thanks to B&B, my shaving senses tingled this time I entered the bathroom. Maybe it was just the boar bacon I had for dinner.
At any rate - I know some of you are smarter than I am, and can possibly help with the dating/possible value of this piece. I couldn't find much besides some of the stamps used by T & R Boote; this one looks like a stamp in use around the late 19th c., though I know that once the company was bought they recycled some of the older stamps for continuity's sake.
What seems strangest to me is that there is no "pattern" on the piece.
Any info would be helpful!
