Help me ID an old Gillette?

I stopped by an antique store today and picked up this razor for what I think is a good price. Although since up until this point I have only shaved with straights I haven't a clue what this Gillette is, much less its worth. Can anyone help ID this for me? My completely uneducated guess is that it looks like a Fatboy, but I'm sure that someone with better knowledge will let me know. Thanks ahead of time!

I bet it cleans up nice. If you don't plan to use it, it won't take long to resell it.

yeah, this was my way of dipping my toes into the DE shaving world. If i don't enjoy it, i can always break even on BST if need be. As far as i can tell there is no rust, bronzing or dents and everything is mechanically sound. I figured that it was a ...any idea of a good/cheap blade that I can try in order to figure out how DE works for me?

Want a good cheap blade get some Astra Superior Platinums.

By the way, that's an EXCELLENT razor you got there. One of only three razors that are still in my rotation after trying, oh, I don't know, maybe 20 different razors in the past few years.

Definately a Fatboy. Enjoy. Astra's or Feathers work nice in those. Start at about a 4 setting and work up from there. Great find.

Thanks for the heads up, i'll probably pick up a pack sometime. It seems that Astra's and feathers are popular brands, at least for the Fatboy. Are they top picks for DE shaving in general, or do they work well in this particular handle?

Thanks for the advice, I am looking forward to giving it a try.
