I'm looking for the thread in which the poster reviewed blades based on what an image of the blade's cutting edge revealed. I can't remember what was used to take the images, but a very high resolution image, showing the minutest imperfections in the metal, resulted. Anyone have the link? I continue searching.... Thanks!

What I'm trying to determine from the images is if one side of the blade is flat while the other is ground or honed or whatever the proper term is for making the edge sharp! And if only one side is machined, why wouldn't the way you load the blade make a difference in your shave?

DE blades are beveled and then honed on both sides equally, like a knife edge.
