Help from a brush expert

My focus has been on razors and I have not put much energy in brushes nor have had a real interest. I suspect it is time for a quality brush and based on prices that I have seen brushes going for I suspect it is time for an upgrade. Rather than read through a ton of stuff I thought I could get some thoughts and ideas from some brush fanatics. After using a couple of inexpensive boar and badger brushes I would like a good value in a brush. I don't need the most expensive but if it is worth the money please educate me on some choices and places to purchase for the best price. Here are my thoughts.

-I want badger for sure
-I don't have a large face and don't need a wide spread. I think tighter with more control is preferable
-I tend to pinch the bristles for control so a smaller handle, something between a normal and travel?
-I like a nice neat sink and tend to have everything in chrome. A red or colored handle would look strange to me. A custom chrome or white should do it though anything vintage (handle only) is huge with me, the
older the better.

Thanks so much

Hello,

Muhle are about to release this:

proxy.php

Also in my favorite silvertip fibers.

If all chrome is not per se a requirement, I think this might look even better:

i also know hat Omega makes soe chrome handles, but I think they are boar.
