Help for Newbie with the next step

Here's what I've done so far....

I've went to a few web sites, glanced over the badger brushes and wrote down what I could afford. Next, I went to the reviews and looked them up, some of which I didn't see any reviews posted.

SITREP:
At the time, I only use soaps; Tobac, VDH but plan to try some creams very soon (TOBS). Maybe I'll catch a PIF.

I lather in a bowl but have played with face lathering a little.

My lather is where I need the most help and my brush is the VDH boar brush.

I would prefer to go with a Best, Super or Finest grade. I think they are the same, just different brand terminology. I did see some Omega Silver Tips in my price range so a Silver Tip would be fine too. Would rather just skip the Pure if I'm going to spend some money since I can't afford multiple brushes right now. (Baby on the way)

I'm considering the following:
Vulfix 660
Vulfix 1040
Vulfix 374
Omega 621

Any opinions on these or alternatives (like EJ, C&E etc)?

Price needs to be $55 or less. Maybe $60 and I'll skip lunch a day. Ha!

I love my Edwin Jagger Best Badger Brush which I ordered from the English Shaving company for about $35 shipped. It's the brush that was the C&E best badger (i think?). Great for soaps.

For the price, I vote Rooney. A small in Best runs $55 and you will be hard pressed to find a better brush for the money in my opinion. That being said I also had a Vulfix in super that worked wonderfully, just a little too floppy for my taste.
