Heartbroken, my razor is flaking.

I know I have heard that many razors out there will sometimes have their plating start to flake off. I've heard people say their Merkur or Edwin Jagger has done it. Still when I just noticed my Parker 94R was starting to flake I could barely believe my eyes. I haven't had the razor that long. I never leave it outside. The base-plate has a bare spot on the bottom side. I love this razor. I can't complain too much, it only cost less than $28.00. Still I'm heartbroken.

Try putting a dab of nail polish on the bare spot.

The nice thing is that you can put other heads on it.

I have a Parker 94 head I use often. No problems (so far). They are nice heads.

Update to my problem. I got Parker 94 thru Amazon. I looked into returning it at their site. At first it said I missed the return window by just 3 days. (I only had this razor 3 days over 1 month.) Out of desperation I contacted Amazon thru a live chat online. Bottom line is, they said I could return it for a refund. So life is good again.
