Is Bon vivant firmer like the icarus based soaps or softer? What does it smell like to you?

Is Bon vivant firmer like the icarus based soaps or softer? What does it smell like to you?

I think it depends on how fresh the items in question are, HOWEVER, the Icarus soaps in general have been about 15% firmer than the buffalo base for me.

Bv is kind of like a non intrusive, but ever present doctor pepper with a bit of caramel, lots of warming spices and herbs, and some kind of brown note meant to approximate whiskey. It’s supposed to be like a cocktail of whiskey, green chartreuse, and orange bitters. 3 of my favorite cocktail ingredients. I don’t get much citrus at all, fwiw.

Bv, is mysterious and awesome. There is nothing like it. I have the splash, and I’ve had a soap sample. I also prefer buffalo base to Icarus. Shaves better for me.

I second the mysteriousness and awesomeness of Bon Vivant. To my nose, the caramel almost scorched.
