Has anyone taken a Tabac puck and made it into a shaving stick?

Gents:

I'm thinking of shredding my Tabac puck into a twist-up container to use as a shaving stick. Does this work? Does the Tabac perform as well/better/worse than it does when whipped up in a bowl?

I know Tabac makes a stick; I just don't know if the formulation is the same.

Thanks.

As mentioned up here, any soap would work as a stick, it's still shaving soap in a stick shape instead of a puck.

They look, perform, and the same to me. I think it is safe to say that they are they same formulation, despite the slight difference in ingredients.

The differences in the ingredient list are such that they were probably broken out of the "Parfum" catch-all due to regulatory changes. Benzyl salicylate, Geraniol, Cinnamyl alcohol, and Isoeugenol are all scent components. So the shorter list is probably slightly older stock, or an older batch of labels, and the longer list is newer.

No, because they sell wonderful sticks. When my stick is almost used up, I put the remants in an Aluminum tin. The formulation is the same.
