Hair style for older tech

with thick, unruly hair?
My hair is so thick, coarse, and unruly. Goes in different directions all over the place.
I've been getting salon cuts, medium length. It looks somewhat ok, a little rough.
But I'm 50 and need to change my look. I dress very casually.
What hairstyle would you gents suggest?

If yours is as thick and wavy as mine, my advice would be keep it short! Easy to maintain and the waves are kept at bay. Hey, at least we 50-year olds have enough hair to worry about!

If you are in the middle of a mid life crisis then of course go with the pony tail.

You could always make some bet with your class, to shave your head, then see what comes up.

seriously, with out knowing what your head looks like, it will be kind of hard to give advise. Some cuts look better than others on different head shapes.
