Had a nice antique shop find today

I stopped by one of the antique shops I check regularly, and the owner had this beautiful Lady Gillette in there, so I grabbed it when I saw the $12 price tag. It's a G2 code, so that would be 1961. This one is in mint condition, doesn't even look like it was ever used, so I don't think I'll ever shave with it, but it will definitely look nice on the shelf.

Wow! That is a beautiful looking Lady's Gillette! I think that might even be the Dark Blue one, which seems to be the rarest of the four. It's a bit hard to tell without another one, to which it could be compared. But it sure looks like a darker blue. Excellent find!

They are great shavers. I agree, it could be the dark blue one, the only one I'm sadly missing.

I'm not sure if it's the darker one or not. It definitely looks darker than most of the blue ones I see photos of, but I'm not sure if that's just because most of those have been used and have lost some of the blue color on the handle. This one is definitely a light blue, and a bit lighter than the blue on the Gillette Super Blue Blades box, if that helps at all.
