I just wanted to say a note of thanks to our great community which has helped teach me about generosity. I have been fortunate to be the lucky winner of quite a few PIF's, so when my best friend and his family moved to NC I decided to spread the wealth. I decided that the best gift I could give would be items that I really love and did not want to give up. So I set him up with my long handled tto Parker razor that I use everyday, my Omega synthetic brush, Razorock croap, a pottery mug to lather in, and about 70 blades to get him on his way. I must say it felt good to know that someone else might enjoy our hobby and that he will get enjoyment out of the items I loved to use everyday.
Yes I admit there were some Derbys in there, and I did clean the razor with Barbicide, and most importantly I included a styptic pencil.
Now I have to convince the wife that I need to get replacement hardware.
