Got my new Paladin

....and there's a couple cracks in the leather. :(

They're not very big, one is about 1 cm and the other is about half that, but it looks like the smaller one may be growing a bit. Only the smaller one is in a place that matters for stropping, but I figure I'll probably damage it enough that I want to start with a pristine strop.

Which is making me sad, because the thing really is beautiful and I want to strop with it really badly, but I'm waiting for Ken to get back to me about what to do... ARGH! :)

In my opinion, the best thing to do is to wait for Ken to reply before posting something like this.

Oy, yeah I didn't mean any disrespect. I'm just excited because I want to use a decent strop for a change! For the record he's been great to deal with, I don't want to give anybody the wrong opinion.
 
Gotta agree with Seraphim.

The polite thing to do IMHO is to wait and see their response - most B&B vendors will be more than happy to offer an exchange or refund. Be sure to let us know how the situation turns out.

Yeah, I really didn't think that through. I will pimp out Ken's products when all is said and done, to try to make amends.
 
Ken is going to address the problem, because he's just an all-around awesome guy like that. Big thumbs up on the customer service!
