Got my BYR

Only been DE shaving for a short period and got a bad case of the RAD. I've now acquired a dozen DE's but this Birth Year Razor seems most satisfying to own.

Got this birth year Super Speed from evil-bay. Doors open/close perfectly and the plating is very nice. Glad I put a last second bid to win this piece!
I will shave with this tomorrow...

Congrats! Piece of advice: don't wash that razor with Oxy-Clean or its unbranded clones if you want that handle to remain black. There are a couple of members that now have white-handle Slims because of Oxy-Clean.

Thanks for advice on cleaning. I just used soap and water with a soft toothbrush. First shave went well. Mild like a Tech but loads up much quicker.
I'm rather surprised with the build of these super speeds, almost 40yrs and it works flawless.
