Got my Beauty Strokes H.I.S. in today

I'm new at this.....Brand new. I bought the VDH "luxury" set from Amazon and have been using that for about a month now. I knew the brush was bad but, I had no idea just how much so. I recieved my H.I.S. brush today and I'm just astounded how nice it is. The hairs are so spot on that I'm still having trouble believing that they're synthetic. It's like rubbing your face with a cloud it's so soft. It has a ton of backbone as well. Just overall a very nice product.

I don't have any other brushes besides my cheap VDH to compare too but I think its great. I know it's not a big dollar brush but, I don't think I'll ever want to/need to move on.


Now I'm starting to understand why you guys like brushes so much.

Glad to hear a review on this one, I bought one on BST a few days ago, and wanted to know first hand.

I had one and agree, it has super soft tips. I had to get rid of mine though because I found it to be a bit of a lather hog. Maybe it was the particular brush I had because I've never heard anyone else say that. Now that they have the other styles out I may have to take a look at them.

They came out with a few new configurations of the H.I.S. brush too. A 23mm @ 50mm loft, 23mm @54 and a 25mm @54 loft. I have a older 28mm that I rehandled and set @ 54mm. They are nice brushes.
