Good economic coffee beans

I am new to the Cafe section of this, though I have been wet shaving for over a year and enjoy the company. I just bought a french press, which I love, and was wondering what coffee beans you folks love that is economically priced. Say 10-12 dollars a pound. Is there a good place to order on line, or even locally in a store? Thanks for the help!!

I buy green coffee beans for as little as $5 per pound from Sweet Maria's (http://sweetmarias.com/) and home-roast them. The results are superior to anything I can buy from commercial sources.
