No sir there was not, the only flair tip in gold was made in England.
There was a member who redid razors (I think SS's) in rose gold (copper and gold alloy). They were absolutely gorgeous!

I have a gold plated Z3. Don't know if it's authentic or a re-plate.
Z3 is my Birthday Razor ... Replated or not, if you ever want to sell it, let me know.

That's got to be a replated Red Tip (note the unique handle knurling). The gold Super Speeds were flare tips.
It was replated, check out the link in the 3rd post of this thread. It was a custom job replating a red tip with the razor in gold and the tip in rose gold.
