• The plating is great with just a little “wear through” on the ends of the doors. The plating is quite nice everywhere else. The adjustment dial works well. The doors open smoothly and evenly. The 1/4 turn blade lock does not work on this razor, but the blade still clamps tight. I have used this razor, and it gives the usual fantastic shave that Slims are known for.

• The plating is extremely nice on this razor. I tried finding a fault with the plating, but I really don’t see any, even the end caps are nice. The doors open smoothly and evenly. Shave ready. This one is a survivor.
