Giorgio Armani scents, anyone?

Just wondering if there are any fellow Armani fans out there. Armani Code is my favorite cologne ATM, followed closely by Acqua Di Gio. I also have the Code body wash, and it is absolutely amazing! My fiance gets all kinds of fragrance samples for me constantly, and out of all of them Code just pleases me the best. What do you think of the Armani line?

I love Armani Code, so does my SWMBO.

I'm not a big fan of the Acqua di Gio, but I've only tested it at a store, never bought it.

while i haven't tried them diamonds and attitude for men interests me a bit from reading the guide... also the original eau pour homme from the 80's

I know AdG is way overused, but that doesn't bother me. It smells incredible. It is masculine, but it isn't sharp like many other designer scents. It's well rounded, mellow, and cool. Unlike most floral aquatics, it strays towards the sweet end of the spectrum, with a sort of cucumber feel to it. It's a good daily scent for me. Relatively inexpensive to wear routinely.

Yeah, what he said!! :tongue_sm

Mama Bears makes a Black Code soap by the way. I bought some and it smells great, haven't tried it yet though.

Unbound for Men by Halston is a very worthy (and cheaper) alternative to ADG. Although after my recent experience trying Z-14, I'm not inclined to forgive Halston anytime soon *shudder*

Back when the world was young, I picked up a bottle of Eau Pour Homme when it was introduced. I liked it a lot and went through a couple of bottles of it. After many years away from it, I tried it again this spring when I saw it on sale. It's still very nice, but I think that my tastes have moved beyond it. At the same time, I continue to like fragrances built around similar notes.

I know this is an old post but still want to give input for passers by. I love Armani code, I rated it very professional, perfect for every day use. I also have Armani eau pour homme vintage version and it is a classic scent again suitable for every day wear. Armani code ultimate is more of a clubbing scent and a bit overpowering.

Armani scents just don't grab me much.

So I only own a few - Remix is my favourite, Emporio Armani Lui is a mossy scent for when one wants something subtle, and Emporio Armani White is something nice and classy for summer.

Armani Code is very good, but I never bought it as it seemed like a cross between Mat: Very Male and Lolita Lempicka, both of which I already had.

Aqua Di Gio, I just never understood. Smells like nothing to me.
Regards,
Renato

I like AdG Essenza. Much better longevity than the EDT version. Smells a bit more grown up than the original also.
I'm planning on checking out a few from the Prive line that look interesting.
