Gillette Tech ID help

Made an offer on this Tech (looks NOS) on the 'bay, and ended up buying it. Looking at the first pic, it appears to be a brass cap, nickel plated with the etched Gillette logo...

...but in the second pic it looks like a date code of I1 (EYE-ONE), which would date it as 1963, which means (according to the B&B Tech data) that it should have a Zamak head with the embossed logo.

Am I misreading something?

Well, I found conflicting info. In this post a member says that Zamak was introduced in 1964, which would mean mine is correct:

However the info in the B&B Tech Wiki says anything after 1962 was Zamak:

Regardless, I found my answer, and it appears the Wiki info is incorrect.

I also have an I-1 with the same set-up. Don't think it's a mis-match as the condition is pristine.

Congrats on the accepted offer, that's a nice example! The wiki can be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.
