Gillette Tech from different countries...

I just purchased a Gillette Tech "made in France". Bought it because I have a rougher looking Gillette Tech which says made in the USA and I love it. I think its the perfect beginner razor and a pleasure for the pros as well. Anyway, this one looks really nice and is in excellent condition. I haven't received it yet but I was wondering, is there a difference in the Gillette's made in USA, France and I believe some from England? Performance wise or as collectibles?

Here's what I scored:

Seeing finds like this makes me want to call up my family that lives over the pond and ask them to check the antique shops in their towns XD.

Excellent looking razor!

I believe it has Made in France stamped on it but again, I'm waiting for it to arrive. I've heard the English are sort of sought after but is there anything to that?

I think the english/french techs are made with an aluminum handle. That should make for different weight and balance right?

My English tech has both an aluminum baseplate and handle with a nickel plated brass head. The US made models are nickel plate + head with the aluminum handle.
