Gillette slim setting = EJ DE89

What is the comparable setting on the G slim to equal the Edwin Jagger DE89?

Based on blade gap, it's roughly equivalent to a 4.

That said, you should play around with it to see what works best -- the head geometry, blade exposure, etc. is going to be a little different and that may affect the perceived aggressiveness.

I have both, and with the same blade, I find the slim more comfortable at a 5 or 6...despite the data on blade gap. Try for yourself and see what feels right for you. When I moved from the EJ to the slim, I started at 3, and found it too mild...so each day I bumped it up one notch till I found what felt right to me.
