Gillette New (Criterion?) dating

Good day, gentlemen!

I just received a razor I bought online. I think it is a Gillette New Criterion from 1920s, made in USA. I've tried to pinpoint the manufacturing date of this razor, based on the serial number. Unfortunately, all the serial numbers charts I found online have an alpha-numeric form, with either a prefix of suffix letter. And numbers in groups of 6. My razor has no letter and just 5 numbers.
Can someone help with dating it, please?
Thank you!

Your razor is a Gillette DeLuxe razor and it's from the 1930's. 'Criterion' refers to a model in a specific case with leather on the outside.

Here it's in gold: http://mr-razor.com/Rasierer/The NEW/1935 Criterion DeLuxe.JPG

Since your specimen is from the US it should be chrome plated which only very few razors from Gillette were(look at the attached ad)

In regards to the serial number there were no razor serial numbers from 1931 until 1951. That being said we often see this system:

1929 no serial#, no patent.

1930-31 serial#, no patent.

1935 patent, no serial#

The serial numbers used in 1930-1931 often started with 1-D and most of the time the final D was omitted.

Hope this can help you 👍🏼

The 30-31 range should read serial nr and patent.
Have to add I never saw any trace of the no patent Deluxe from 1929.
