I haven't been online much recently. My wife and I had our first baby daughter last Wednesday morning. We are both delighted and, frankly, shaving and anything else I normally do has been the last thing on my mind!
Anyway, one of the things about being on paternity leave is that you get to see all the things that happen during the day that you miss while at work.
Yesterday we had a knock at the door. It was a young woman in a bright orange coat. She was from Gillette and was running a 'razor exchange'. Basically she was going door-to-door asking people if they wanted to swap their old used razors for a brand new Gillette Fusion razor!
I told her that we didn't have any razors like that in our house. She tried to persuade me to take one by saying they were very expensive to buy in the shops. I said I know!
I didn't have the heart to tell her that she'd knocked on the door of The Traditional Shaving Company!
