I don't have this razor someone I know sent these pic's to me to see if I could put a date on it. I asked her to see if there was a number on the guard and she said there isn't, I thought all of the old types had a number or is this a new.

It is a large Ball End Old Type. Did you look between the head and base plate?

I'm going to get her to send me pics of the head and plate to see.
It's a nice razor I wouldn't mind having a short comb.

If it doesn't have a serial number anywhere then it is an Old Type made between 1921 and 1929.

Thanks that is really helpfull and the SS is to I've used the SS ID thread but not the three piece (love this fourm) I do belive thats the 1921's model and it's in good shape to. I'm doing this for a lady for about 20 razors and when I'm done I can pick one for free. Darn I wish I had her luck she won a box of them at an autcion for next to nothing and so fare most are in the case's.
