I wanted to ask the production date of these Gillette Wilkinson Sword razor blades.
I know that Gillette puts both the date and year of manufacture on each package.

On this package I cannot decipher the day and month of production.
How the date is listed is very different from how it is placed on packages of e.g. Gillette Silver Blue, other Gillette blades I don't currently have to check.

The year should be 24 so 2024 recent production?

=6th of July 2022

But then again, the back of your pack should say the month and year "PKD 07/22"

I didn't realize it was written in the back in small print.

Just for better understanding it is written 2187.
2 what does it indicate?

187 the days since the beginning of the year, so we come to June of the year under consideration.
It becomes 6/22 I understand that now but how did you understand the year of production from that wording?

The first figure is the last figure of the year. The next 3 fugures are the day in that year.

In your case they had the pack already preprinted with 6/22. But 187 is not June but 6th of July. It was stamped by the machines later.
