Gillette Fat Boy adjustment settings

I haven't used my '59 Fat Boy for quite awhile and was wondering on the adjustment ring is 1 the mildest setting or is it 9? I'd rather not find out when I shave with it next.

9 is the most aggressive on a Gillette . Usually start around 2 or 3 and dial up if needed. Remember the higher the number the less pressure needed
