Gillette Bulldog

Hi ladies and gents!

I was lucky to score a 1920 Bulldog but have som questions.
First of all, is it brass or actually goldplating on my razor?
I cant tell, if you look how beaten case are, so should the razor be,
right? I once polished one Old Type to sparkle like "gold" so
I know it can be done. What do you think?

The head looks really beaten and the case , well I've sent it
out for restoration.
There's no bladedispensers so I wonder how
they look like to the "G" set. No cracked handle and all theet's
there.

Looks like a gold plated bulldog to me. Nice find. I have a silver plated Bulldog and I love it.

Hard to say but time will tell. If it would be worn, some nickel would be left I guess.
Best looking razor I own to date. Really dont like Old Type heads but I think I'll try this
Bulldog some day.

My 1920 Bulldog is one of my favorite shavers. Mine is silver and has missing plating and no case.... but I love it. I will probably get it replated someday.
