Pre-shave treatment - Penhaligon's Bayolea Cream (terrible for shaving, good pre-shave)

Clubman Whiskey Woods
Slow, methodical WTG pass paying attention to angle and pressure. Small area vs longer pass. Result: made it through the whole pass (except parts of upper lip) with no nicks or cuts, focus on beard reduction.
2nd pass, WTG also. Smoother yet, no cuts or nicks.
Feeling bold I switched to the Torrey I honed myself for a ATG pass on neck - nice.
Finished around my mouth with my '49 SuperSpeed so as not to push my luck too much. Nice finish with alum and some Clubman (no stinging or burning).
Only flaw: put a nick in the edge of my strop while bringing the razor to it.
Gotta watch the angle ALL the time, not just on your face.
