Get rid of watermarks/spots?

I have this slim adjustable that I acquired not to long ago, it was a bit dirty but nothing too bad. I cleaned it with soap and water at first and then with scrubbing bubbles later. The scrubbing bubbles definitely made the razor look nice and shiny but it wasn't able to get rid of the watermarks/spots. I had some left over nevr-dull that I used to polish it adn it made it even more shiny but it wasn't able to fully get rid of the marks. Any help guys?

I know what you're talking about. In my opinion, somewhere you got a pit that breached the nickel plating and hit brass. That brass is oxidizing under the nickel. You're stuck with the spots.

Just my opinion I could be wrong.

I've yet to successfully remove such spots. sorry.

If you know you have a good amount of plating left I have removed a lot of spots with Turtle Wax rubbing compound. Use a very tiny amount with a soft towel. I have turned a bunch of heads into brand new with it. You cold run the risk of taking the plating off all together if it is very thin.

It was a risk I was willing to take and it worked great. It also does not seem to be as harsh as Brasso.

Well how do I go about figuring out if I have a good amount plating left?
