am aware that geneva was also american .....this razor pre dates the american move and is actually stamped germany .....they dont have a way to search pre move ?????
I don't know if they necessarily moved pre se, though I could be wrong. It wasn't entirely uncommon for companies here in the US and Canada to import razors made for them in places such as Solingen, Germany for sale here in the us back around the late 1800's to early 1900's.
That's the case with retailers like Duble Duck who sold razors in the U.S but manufactured nothing. They had a German Company make them and the same with sears and Montgomery ward and probably hundreds if not thousands of others. However there were quite a few U.S manufacturers and they made them all in the U.S. genco went through several name changes genesee, genco and they were bought by Case eventually. The newer case models are made in germany but I doubt the older genco's were made in germany so your razor it weird.
