What's new

Gentlemen, we are superfluous

Sure it leaves more time for shaving, aquisition disorders and B&B.

But really, women can't do without us.

Well they probably can but life would be boring for them.

um... there are a flood of responses to this that are pouring forth. However, shall refrain from sharing

Worth

• Just because you're necessary, doesn't mean you're important.

After reading this...

Worthless

• Just because you're unnecessary, means you're a man.

As long as they still find a use for the applicator..........

Pish posh. Men have been helping create babies for years without becoming fathers. The results have been less than sparkling.

My sentiments precisely. Be careful spouting that conservative stuff around here though. I'm reminded of Chris Rock's comments about women saying "I don't need no man! I'll can raise my baby by myself!" To which Mr. Rock replies "Yeah, you can drive with your feet too, that doesn't mean it's a very smart thing to do."

Zoinks...I just noted my double spelling error in the post title. My apologies...I didn't get a lot of sleep last night and it kinda hit me over the head in the middle of the day.

Anyway, not to head down the wrong path, but on the Chris Rock comment (which is too true), I have noted too, too many women adding to an already strained family (in the microcosm) and an already strained world (macrocosm) for the purpose of self-value.

Anyway, since we agree that its very easy for any woman to go out and find a walking, talking sperm donor, why do we presume that they do so for the pleasure of the act? I don't think its that at all. I may have had my tongue in cheek when I posted the OP, but a fair chunk of humor is based in truth.

Man, we'd need a whole sub-forum to get into all that! The day women don't need men is the day men don't want to see them without any clothes on. There's a lotta reasons it takes two people to make a kid. We have far too many adult males who don't know how to be men.
I can see the good in this technology, but there are also some very bad things I see coming with it. Assuming it works the way they think it will. They aren't even sure if they can get sperm from the female's cells yet.

A witty saying proves nothing.--Voltaire

Sorry, I couldn't resist. If this means I'm stuck being the Dali Lama of the DE for eternity, so be it.

He must be very ignorant for he answers every question he is asked. --Voltaire

Sorry, it seemed somewhat appropriate.

I don't grok what you are saying--that women don't enjoy sex?

Such sentiments are neither conservative nor liberal. Especially seeing 1OldGI quoting Chris Rock -- I think that's illustrative in its own right.

Well said!
