What's new

Funny thing happened!

I was surfing Ebay 3 days ago and I found a nice looking brush that was black and butterscotch and I won it for just over $5.00 before shipping cost. Well... yesterday we were at a large antique mall and I found the exact same brush in the exact same shape for $12.00 and I bought it. Today I received my ebay brush in the mail and now I have 2 very nice black and butterscotch brushes. I can't tell what brand they are because the logos in the center of the bottom on both are worn away but one says set in rubber and the other says plastiset instead. I believe that they are both boar as the hair seems very stiff but still in good shape. I'm try to decide if I should leave them original or at least make one a badger. Any thoughts?:001_smile

I'm about 99% positive they are Fuller brushes. On the left side you can see the cursive F and Fuller has an oval around it. I'm thinking they're fuller. But they do look like some of the Rubbersets I've seen too. Could have been some overlap in design/manufacture? Fuller makes the brush Rubberset sets the knot?

Definitely Fuller Brushes. I have that exact one up for restoration sometime soon. Nice pair. I plan on setting mine in badger.
