First of all...Here is a "Flashback" to 2008 and my Christmas Eve SOTD I had assembled some old favorites and I can't say now that any of them remain in my shave den...ALL have gone off to other homes... My 2012 version is still with a straight razor, The Heljestrand MK31 vs the Mappin & Webb years ago.... My brush today was a Simpson Somerset Duke 3 vs the Plisson HMW #12 in Horn.... The Soap today was T&H Luxury vs MWF ... and my aftershave was Floris JF vs Old Spice. The 2008 SOTD was my tribute to the tradition of Old Spice given as gifts on Christmas.

• Prep: Brush soaked in warm water, face washed with Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cleanser, luke warm shower
• Razor: Merkur Progress 500
• Blade: Shark Super Stainless
• Brush: Semogue 820 Boar
• Soap: Proraso Menthol and Eucalyptus with added Menthol
• AS: Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue
• Post: Cold Water Rinse, Double Splash of Aftershave

Not to much to say except great shave
