Bowl: Captain's Choice copper
Aftershave: Captain's Choice Nor'easter
I took a step up in razor aggression today, going from an Overlander to the Athena. The results were a smooth and close shave. The Athena doesn't mess around! Three passes (WTG, XTG, ATG) with a new Dorco Prime blade wiped out two days whiskers very efficiently.
I used a badger brush for the first time in a month or more and enjoyed it more than before.
All in all, an excellent shave.

Cloudy Saturday. Inspired by BADGERary 2025, I chose a brush that I rarely use, but whenever I use it I come to the conclusion that I should use more, Yaqi Moka Express (Two Band Badger/26mm). It was 20 dollars very well spent. SV Morado is increasingly climbing my shelf and with FloΓ―d The Genuine it makes a divine combination. For my 24-hour beard, I chose Greencult 2.0 II with a brand new Brazilian Wilkinson Sword.

Razor : Razorock Game changer.84 with a RR Radio knob 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2018>, mild to tame mid range depending on blade.
Blade : Kai SS extra wide(3) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. I use the Kai blade in my GC.84 to give it a boost in blade feel.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood
, very enjoyable scent with excellent lather qualities. I like to use the puck like a soap stick or just load the brush works the best with the Ogallala soaps has been my findings recently.
Brush : Yaqi "Moka express" 24mm synthetic. Great brush to work my face with some excellent lather whipped up using it.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard cleanse and Ogallala bayrum and Sandalwood+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :

Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Razorock GC.84 with a extra wide Kia SS blade.
