Found an Ever Ready at a flea market today.

Completely new to Ever Ready. Can someone perhaps tell me how old this razor is and where I might purchase blades for it. I'm dying to try it out. I bought it for 5€.

Very nice razor! The gold version of that razor started me down the path of SE love. I caution that you may like the SE shave experience so much, that you give up on your DE razors.

considering he paid in euros i doubt he has either of those american drug stores near by

I like the original blades that came with it. Pretty cool and something I don't recall seeing before.

Thanks for the tip. I also bought an DE Gillette at the same time but I will post questions about that one in the appropriate thread.

I have seen these with original blades in them, the blades have an odd design like they have been sanded with circles running across the blade. Are the original blades meant to be re sharpened or are they disposable?
