Found a new "best combination"

Well Gents:

I've been DE shaving for three months now and I just found the best combo of blade/razor I have tried as of yet.

A 1940's vintage Gold Tech Razor with the large diameter (HD) knurled handle loaded with a Gillette Yellow 7 O'clock blade. I got a BBS in 2 passes with minimal touch-up. This combo beat everything else so far including Feather & IP Reds. Now just prior to today's shave, I was raving about the IP Reds, so now what I have to see is just how well the Yellow's hold up on shave 2, 3 & 4. This mornings shave was lathered by MB's OS soap.

So far the Gillette HD Tech is the third Razor I've tried, and I am so satisfied with this one, I have stopped looking for razors (at least for the time being).

Going to use your post to say much the same thing. Received my razor from Bob's Razorworks today. You can see a picture of it in his vendor spot. Fluted slim TTO. Pop an Astra into it and gave it a whirl. Just like you. Two passes. BBS and absolutely no irritation. Stunned. My Fatboy, Tech, Muehle, may all go on the sale block. This thing just looks great, feels right in your hand and the shave was perfect. What a way to start my Friday!
