As in Canada dates in Germany are written dd/mm/yy

14APR98 is a possibility.... I didn't know if that was just an old *** code for the Tinderbox I got it from.
She was old looking on the shelf so I got it. That shop had a lot of old hidden gems. New owner bought all the old stuff for himself.
Could be October 1950.
