I love the blade's simple lines that lets the pattern of the steel talk for itself. The "geological" lines of the steel are not overshadowed by extra embellishment. Super nice work! Are the scales curly Koa?

for the blade it is laminated soft steel & Old Iron with core in Blue paper steel.
