Tied some girdle bugs the other evening. Was asked to tie some for a local guide so I tied these to re familiarize myself with the pattern. Last time I tied any was in 2017

I don't know why I keep putting off responding to this thread, since I've tied flies for like 15 years. Probably because I haven't done it since my Grandfather's memorial. Beautiful work, I'm tempted to break out the old kit.

Lol, tho I know absolutely nothing about fly tieing, I know a lot about photography, and I agree with you. He is phenomenal at both. Truly works of art!OK. C'mon, stop it. You can't keep claiming your camera gear or lighting rig makes your flies look better. The pictures speak for themselves. Those quill and braided bodies are awesome and you should accept the fact that your flies are spectacular. Keep em coming!
