Floris - Great stuff

I recently received a tube of Floris JF, and have used it half a dozen times now. Prior to receiving the tube, I'd converted to using soaps exclusively.

WOW, this stuff delivers a wonderful slick lather which produces wonderful shaves. It's quite mosturizing, and the scent is awesome. Having previously used creams such as Trumpers, TOBS, Proraso and Edwin Jagger this stuff is far superior. It's certainly up there with AOS and CF, but not quite as good as Penhaligons BB.

What say you? Anyone else have similar experiences with Floris?

I recently mentioned in another thread the fact that I once received a free sample of the Floris JF cream and thought it was the slickest lather I have ever come across. I also liked the scent very much, but again I say I thought it was too expensive for me.

Great Stuff

The tube of JF that I had was great. A quality cream that gave a very nice shave. I probably need to go pick up another tube soon.

Yes indeed!

Maybe I should give the 89 another go. I grabbed a sample at truefitt, but my first go around was horrible. Does it take more cream to water ration than truefitt creams?

Any thoughts on your successes. I want to like this.

Just when I can justify not buying Floris soap due to the reformulation, I have to read this about the cream. You guys are troublemakers!

I found it quite easy to lather, however IMO it does need a bit more water than other creams in my rotation. YMMV

At one point I made a decision that I was just going to use soaps. So I decided to sell off all the creams.

So out to BST went all the Trumpers, TOBS, Truefitt & Hill creams as well as some others.

I only kept a tube of Old Spice by Shulton, Speick and my tube of Floris JF.

I bought the Floris JF cream along with a bowl of the JF soap. Although, as some of you mentioned, the soap was a disappointment but the cream is outstanding.

I forget which vendor was selling them at 1/2 off at one time (about 18 dollars). I should have picked up a couple of them.
